Dylan Antonio Perez is a Cuban-American actor, playwright, theater and film multi-disciplinary artist in New York City. He is graduating from Fordham University’s Theatre Program, under a performance and playwriting double concentration. When acting, Dylan likes to showcase how every character holds specific complexity, and in turn bringing individuality to his work. Originally from New Jersey, he hadn’t begun his theatrical career until his sophomore year of high school. At the time, he had been a dedicated student-athlete, until he found a true purpose in performance. Although he had always written stories and poetry, he did not begin playwriting until starting his education in college. Dylan is passionate about telling and embodying stories of truth and reality. He enjoys work that showcases Latinx culture, political and religious history, mental and physical health, familial themes, as well as sports and sports media. His love for acting comes from film, and his love for writing comes from the stage. He hopes to buy his mother a beach house in the near future.
